Alter the css to Display Lists

The verti css doesn't display ordered or unordered lists with any style. You may want to make these small alterations to the css to get ordered lists numbered, unordered lists showing bullets and both of them indented.

More intriguing information

The first thing to say is that you can add an inline style to a list through the ckeditor. Just right click on the list in the editor panel and choose the list properties.

The css has styles for lists using the class .default, so you can use the css as it is and if you want to show bullets or numbers give your list class="default". You will need to edit in 'source' mode in the editor.

Otherwise edit the file main.css. at line 1684 under /* list */ . To display for instance ul elements with bullets only in the div id=content edit to:

    ul.default, #content ul {
        list-style: disc;
        padding-left: 1em;
    }

        ul.default li, #content ul li {
            padding-left: 0.5em;
        }

And do the same for ordered and unordered lists in the sidebar and footer as required. Either way you should get lists displayed like this:

  • Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
  • Maecenas ac quam risus, at tempus justo.
  • Sed dictum rutrum massa eu volutpat.
  1. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
  2. Maecenas ac quam risus, at tempus justo.
  3. Sed dictum rutrum massa eu volutpat.
